You can actually find metal outdoor rocking chairs but most of them are going to be vintage. These chairs were made out of a lightweight metal or aluminum and painted black, white, yellow, red, green or another eye catching color. They did not come with cushions and rocked on their curved metal rockers. There are rocking chairs made from resin wicker that look like fine woven materials but is actually a material that can stand up to almost anything while retaining its beauty. No matter what material you choose, make sure your rocking chair is made for outside if that is where you want to use it.
